The glass in fusion was blown while contained inside the ornate wrought iron structure. This piece has been newly wired to fit US standards. It is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.

Very nice gift necklace

Honestly - I found this to be of equal quality to the well known brand necklace of the same type (birthstone and initial) that I also bought - and this one cost less.
It looks lovely. It made a great gift for my niece. The chain is quite delicate - but most of them are, these days.
