NEGATIVE: It slides very easily even though there's a grip fabric on the bottom, it's only sewn around the edge so it doesn't stop it from sliding. My senior cat did slip off it & fell. She won't go near it. She was limping for a little bit. I hand sewn a few spots in the bed to connect the top & bottom more securely. Cats didn't like or try to use it until I put a couple toys and some catnip then one of my cats was willing to lay on it. I also wish there was padding on it. I put in on her blanket so it could be more comfortable to sleep & feel secure. I don't know why they don't like the smell of it, but I hope with time, my cat will have her scent on it enough where it becomes her favorite bed.

We have a self warming bed for our cat and it has reflective fabric on it similar to what you find in a Columbia omniheat coat. This has nothing like that. Either way it is our puppies favorite mat and so far one of the few he hasn’t chewed to bits. That alone makes it 5 stars for me.
